Hello Supporters!
My name is Juan DeDios, I live in Denmark together with my wife and three kids. Educated photographer from the Danish Photo Academy in Viborg 2017.
Since 2014 I decided to rediscover my world by making digital art-photos without manipulations in photoshop, by keeping the process as close as possible to the original film based development techniques, which today are available in the camera raw converter. In this way I expend more quality time in the concept of my themes and the take of people, urban and country landscapes. I called my agreement "dogma in-A-rush 2014" which I have applied in Denmark, France, Belgium, Canada New York & Mexico.
The result was beyond all expectations and beautifully amazing! - My first exhibition was curated by Professor Gunner Byskov in Denmark and presented in February 2015. Since then I´ve been selected for several individual and collective art photo exhibitions around Denmark.
In December 2015 I was selected to be part of the collective art photo exhibition held at the Danish Photo Museum in Herning. Entry Til Kanten 2016. In January 2016 I was informed that the jury had selected 4 of my photo art-works and gave me the official second place of the international photo exhibition, but since I was given the personal vote from 2 of the 3 juries I was named un-officially winner of the whole competition for innovating thinking with my art street, urban & landscapes photos Dogma in-A-rush! 2014
My goal is to breakthrough frontiers and reach hearts and souls with my visions. I want to create new emotions and bring you childhood back, recover the way we used to express our feelings and be amazed about small things. But above all... I want to surprise you, make you smile again and confirm your connection with our world while waking up in you the need to transcend an share your happiness with less privileged people. I believe this is the key of Happiness.

First Exhibition in Denmark 2015

It is rare to encounter a major innovator in the Danish photography landscape. Danes have a fairly common understanding of how Denmark should be seen - the Golden age of painters have not lived in vain!
Perhaps then, only a foreigner with fresh eyes, could show us the landscape, in a new way to be seen, and that is exactly what Juan de Dios achieves with his pictures. Captured in both large and small cities, and around the Danish countryside. What wonderful observations! New lines, shapes and colors show up for our wondering eyes: is it really Denmark? Yes, it is... and the Danish landscapes will never be quite the same after this...
